“COURAGEOUS” Movie Outreach Opportunity

September 30th marks the opening day of a movie that will challenge and motivate all parents (especially dads) to .... well, become all God exhorts us to be as parents.  It's called "Courageous".  If you want to learn more, visit http://www.courageousthemovie.com

We plan to offer FREE child care for the 3:45pm showing on Saturday, October 1st.  Our plan is to offer care from 3pm to 7pm.

The only theater in town showing the movie is the Regal Cascade Stadium 16 near Mill Plain and 164th St.

We are hoping to provide face painting, games in the gym, Veggie Tales movies, a Bible Lesson, and other healthy things for the kids (food too?!) ... but more than just baby sitting!

BUT, that depends a lot on you!  We need a contingent of people to care for these children ... a staff who are so passionate about reaching parents with this important message they are willing to sacrifice a few hours to help them to hear it.  Are you one of those?

If you would like to help with child care, or if you would like to attend the movie and NEED childcare, please let me Dave Crawford, djcrawford@integrity.com or Amy (acrawford@integrity.com) know as soon as possible.

Activities & Events & Stuff

CLOSURE OF ST JOHNS / HIGHWAY 500 INTERCHANGE

At various times in the coming months (beginning in October) right and left turns will be prohibited from Highway 500 onto St Johns Road, and / or from St Johns Road to Highway 500. These closures will be at various times (not constant) and will necessitate using a detour if you come to First E from Highway 500 or I-5.

The marked detour will be Highway 500 to 42nd Avenue. Then 42nd Avenue to 44th Street (turn left). Cross St Johns and turn left on St James, then left at 42nd Street for the church. Please remember that the detour takes you through residential neighborhoods. There are speed “humps” and the speed limit is 25 mph or lower. Please watch for pedestrians and bicycles as they will be sharing the detour as well.

You can sign up for e-mail updates on the project at
